man oh man winter has what it takes. Since Christmas snow without end. is the end of January it for weeks then one bright spot, the sun is shining and it's the weekend! There is plenty of snow and I decide to do this now unused for months Cube ;-)) My son David, who has to do on this lovely Sunday also nothing better is one of the party and so we drive from Berlin Mahlsdorf to the northeast, towards Strausberg. As target we chose the essence Dahler mill. The streets are partially frozen and we must be careful
not to get stuck in ruts. We are making good progress in cold minus 5 degrees and beautiful sunshine, until we turn off the road on a dirt road. A short piece we can drive on the frozen snow yet, shortly before being Dahl we fall in part to one of the hubs and am taking a short photo stop and think of war. After all, we did almost 20 kilometers and in view of the snow mountains we decide to return. To not back down the same path we cross Altlandsberg. Here we strengthen ourselves with a piece of cake and a cup of coffee safely and so we come to 38km home. Although our original goal of being Dahler mill, have not been reached, but that was a really great first bike tour 2010!
